Chuck Davis'  African American  Dance Ensemble

Preserving and sharing the finest traditions of African and African American dance and music through research, education and entertainment. With their motto, "peace, love, respect for everybody," they celebrate traditional African culture, aesthetics, and values as resources for all people and utilize them to encourage interracial cooperation, cross-cultural understanding, and societal analysis.
  • Ed Jones (EJ)

  • Ed Jones (EJ) is a native of North Carolina. He began his musical career singing with the choir in his home of Goldsboro. He wrote and produced “Step Into The Light”, his first CD. EJ is excited to be using the talents God has given him to share his insights and convictions about God’s unfailing love and the many blessings he has received. EJ currently resides in Durham with his wife, Penny, and their two children, Marcus and Symone. 
El Viento Canta

A musical montage unlike any other! Andean music on original instruments with costumes. They have been described as illuminating the stage "with a sunburst of vitality in performances pulsating with life and energy."

One Human Family Workshop Choir

An emotional, spirit-filled concert showcasing the linkage of African to African American sacred music, incorporating the rhythms of African Drums, spirituals, and traditional, contemporary and inspirational gospel.

Martin Luther King Jr. All-Children's Choir

Nationally acclaimed, multiracial youth choir, founded in 1984 to sing during the annual Martin Luther King Holiday celebrations. The award-winning ensemble is made up of young people from throughout the Triangle community and has performed throughout the U.S.
